His dam was Win A Bunny, who was an APHA performance point earner who goes back to Awahe Bunny on the dam’s side. Winners is the true family horse. Both Wendell and Peggy have ridden him to many championships. He has APHA points in cutting, reining, western horsemanship, and working cow horse. He has been a loyal horse and one that they could always count on to give his heart and try his best every time he was shown. Winners has the Medicine Hat coat pattern and Chest Shield that are prized markings, considered sacred by the Native Americans on their war horses. Winners has been retired to oversee the ranch operations in Sedalia. He delights in protecting the broodmares and looking after the new foals. In 2020, Winners is 31 years old and still going strong.

Peggy has shown Winners to 3 ROM’s in APHA Reining and Working Cow Horse and to 3 Reserve World Championships in Amateur Working Cow Horse, as well as numerous Top 5 and Top 10 finishes in Reining and Working Cow Horse at the APHA World Show. Winners and Peggy have also won many belt buckles, jackets, gift certificates, and other awards from various regional and circuit championship finishes in Reining and Working Cow Horse from RMPHA and HPPHC and SCPHC. Wendell has shown Winners to numerous Top 5 and Top 10 finishes at the APHA Worlds in Reining and Amateur Working Cow Horse. This pair has 2 ROM’s, one in Reining and one in Working Cow Horse.
