Doc’s first foal is a PAINT!!!! Freckles produces her fifth tobiano in a row! “Colonel” is proving the athletic ability of our breeding lines, crossing Colonel Freckles and Color Me Smarts. Colonel stops and spins with ease.
He is very friendly and trainable! We are enjoying his sweet nature. He is also enrolled in the APHA Breeder’s Trust Program to get payback $$$ with each open or amateur APHA point earned. As you can see in the top photo, his roan coat pattern has been fully established and he is ready to work cattle and slide.
Colonel has earnings in NRCHA and also is an APHA World Show Challenge Champion. He has become a steady and solid mount who rises to the ability of his rider. He will take care of you in the show pen.
Colonel has been trained by EJ Laubscher and is currently ready to try and is for sale at Laubscher Performance in Colby, Kansas.
2016 Colonel was second at the CRCA Stallion Stakes Sagebrush Show in Loveland with E.J. riding. He scored 70 in the reining and 72 in the herd and drew a different kind of cow in the fence work and we are so proud that he took second place!!! Amateur Boxing with Wendell 3rd and in the Ltd. Am Challenge Boxing, again with Wendell, they placed 2nd and cashed a big check! IN 2014 Colonel also cashed a check at the APHA World Show, winning 4th in the Open Reining Challenge with Devin Warren.
