Doc’s first foal out of our mares, is a Red Roan Tobiano colt, Docs Painted Colonel, foaled on 3/26/11. He is loudly marked and was working the barn cats in his pen at one day old and has grown up to be a APHA World Show Champion in Working Cow Horse! Another of his foals is a filly out of our Mark This Spot mare. “Frosty” is the 2013 model and went on to be a money earning NRCHA horse before she was sold early in her career with us.

Another foal is Docs Diamond Chex,  a 2016 stud colt out of Laras One Carat. DOC, our ranch stallion, is an own son of the great JR RED DIABLO, Open NCHA Super Stakes Winner and earner in excess of $168,000 in NCHA events. He is out of a producing Doc Doll mare, Docs Chantella.  He is sold and has gone on to a riding and showing career with a new owner.

Yet another of his foals, Docspaintedsmartlena, a 2017 foal, has been sold to California and is looking for a show and then a breeding career in the industry.

Doc has been named in the Quarter Horse News EQUI-STAT Annual Reined Cow Horse Statistics as a TOP 100 Sire: All Ages/All Divisions!!! Docs’s son, Colonel in 2015 was awarded: Open World Show 4 & 5 Year Old Working Cow Horse Challenge Championship; Reserve World Champion Junior Open Working Cow Horse and 2nd in Ltd. Amateur Boxing Challenge and 3rd in Ltd.

Amateur World Show Class! Now siring World Champions!!!Doc and Wendell were named the APHA World Champions for 2012 in Limited Amateur Working Cow Horse. They had the highest score awarded on the cow! At the 2012 Colorado State Fair, Wendell and Doc won first place and the Championship Plaque in the NRHA Prime Time Rookie Class after a terrific ride! Love those stops!!! Doc and Wendell were Reserve World Champions in Limited Working Cow Horse at 2011 APHA World Show. Robbie Boyce and Doc earned the Reserve World Champion honors in Senior Working Cow Horse at 2011 APHA World Show. Doc and Peggy finished in the Top 10 in Amateur Reining at that same 2011 APHA World Show. 2010 APHA World Show, Doc and Wendell placed 3rd in Limited Working Cow Horse and Top 10 in Nov. Am Reining. 2009 Doc won the APHA World Show Senior Reining World Championship with Devin Warren riding!!!!!!! He was #2 in Open Reining and #1 Senior Working Cow Horse on the 2009 APHA Honor Roll. 2008 Doc was the APHA Jr. Reining Honor Roll Champion. He has also earned his Superior in Reining with APHA. He was the Open Reining Circuit Champion and Working Cowhorse Circuit Champion at the APHA Copper Country show held over New Years in Tucson. Doc won the 2008 National Western Stock Show APHA Junior Reining 1st place award. He also had the Overall Highest Open Reining Score, earning him the 2008 Bob Clark Memorial Award, at that same show.

Doc has APHA points in Reining and Working Cow Horse. He is a NRCHA and NRHA money earner. He has been on the OPAC APHA Reining Top 10 Honor Roll list. 2008 World Show Jr. Reining Finalist. NRHA Money earner at the 2008 APHA World Show in the 4/5 Year Old Reining Challenge. 2008 NRHA money earner and qualifier for the Rocky Mountain Affiliate Reining Horse Finals.
