Lara’s One Carat, or Lara, is a producing dam of MARKANOTHERSPOT who, in turn is a producing mare. Lara’s dam, Lara Dee Bar, has won over $50,000 in NRHA earnings. She has produced multiple point and money earners. She is best known as the dam of Kick Dee Bar, now standing at Schwartzenberger Equine. Kick Dee Bar tied to win the Farnam AQHA Congress Open Futurity, was a NRHA Open Futurity Finalist and has amassed over $40,000 in NRHA earnings during his show career. In APHA he has his Superior in Reining, has been number 1 on the APHA Honor Roll in reining, and Top 5 in both JR. and Sr. Reining in the APHA, as well as winning the APHA Freestyle and the Reining Sweepstakes at the World Show. Lara was be bred to Diablos Painted Doc for her beautiful 2015 foal, Chex. She was bred back to Doc for a 2016 foal who turned out to be a filly…Little Lara. She is sweet and oh so talented! Little Lara has sold. Laras One Carat had knee issues and had to be humanely put down fall of 2018.
Her sire, Lenas Diamond Chex was a reiner and a roper who goes back to King three times. He was the Champion Rope horse in Heading and Heeling at the Houston Livestock Show. Lara Dee Bar’s dame was Kick Dee Bar, Superior in Reining and ROM as well as a NRHA earner. He was the sire of 14 APHA point earners.
