Markie is proving herself as a broodmare, producing a homozygous stud colt by Color Me Smart, called Marked by Color. She was re-bred in 2010 to our stallion, Diablos Painted Doc, and has a georgous red roan filly, Diablos SmartPaintedLena. See Lena’s page for more details on her. For 2012, Markie has produced a SBP, Hershey, who is gentle and athletic. Check out Hershey’s page for more information! Markie was rebred to Diablos Painted Doc and they have produced the gorgeous; black and white filly, Frosty, shown in these photos. This year her Doc foal is a SBP filly who is a beautiful bay, named Markies Coco…look for her on her own page. Markie has been bred to Color Me Smart for a 2016 foal. Love those “Colors”! And she will be rebred to COLOR for a 2017 foal.  Her 2018 foal by Color Me Smart is named Marked For Greatness.  He is a bay tobiano stud colt and growing very nicely.  Unfortunately, Markie reabsorbed her next foal by Color Me smart and took a turn for the worse.  She was humanely put down in December of 2018.  We miss her and loved her amazing and quiet temperament and presence in the broodmare band.  RIP Markie.
